Hitting Your Timing in ElevenLabs: Shorten the Script Before Speeding It Up
Do not upgrade the speed setting alone if the voiceover exceeds the target time. The method of working together in ElevenLabs that controls text, pronunciation, pause, and actual time.

Writing forty-five seconds of text into a thirty-second video and speeding up the audio often compresses the narrative. The first step in fitting the audio into the time frame is not to turn it on until the end of the setting, but to check whether the text actually carries one idea. The number of words can be the initial prediction; the actual time is only measured in the recording produced by the voice you choose.
First remove the second job in the text
A sentence tells both the feature, gives an example of use, and calls for sale, split or remove some of it. An original example: 'You can see the weekly content plan, share goal, and control status in one place in this file.' Then add a single example. Repeating the same information with different adjectives increases time, does not increase openness.
Read the voiceover draft out loud. The sentence is probably too long if you're out of breath to put a dot. Set the number, abbreviation, and how you want foreign words to be read before you produce the text.
Use the speed setting with small changes
In ElevenLabs' product guide The default speed is specified as 1.0; the speed range is 0.7-1.2. The guide also notes that extremes can affect sound quality. So make the first comparison at natural speed; listen again after a small change if necessary.
Do not assume that the same settings will produce exactly the same result in each production. Note the recording time, the sound you use, the model, and the setting you change. If you change both the text and the speed and sound in one attempt, it becomes difficult to separate the cause of the improvement.
Pause method depends on model
ElevenLabs's pause statementThe use of punctuation with sound labels for Eleven v4 and v3 indicates that SSML break labels are not supported in these models. Other supported models have different methods. Do not apply a pause command you receive online to all models in the same way.
Also listen to special names in Turkish text. It is a separate check that the word that looks right in the text is correct in the sound. If you are changing the text to correct pronunciation, do not turn the text that appears in the video into incorrect writing; keep the audio production text and the text on the screen separate when necessary.
Measure time in fiction
If your goal is thirty seconds, the entire recording does not have to be exactly thirty seconds; an introductory image and editing share may be required for closing. Determine this share based on the structure of your own video. If there is music that suppresses the last syllable, rush closing, or speech, the recording is not available.
Only work with sounds that belong to you or are allowed to be used. Do not use sound that will make a person sound like they are speaking without their approval. The final decision should be based on the clarity of the file as much as the number of seconds: the narrative that fits in time but cannot be heard is not a good delivery.
